Have you heard of it, have you played, if any of these you answered yes to then hopefully you see what I see. This was one of the big hype games, it was in PC Gamers rts revolution page's which is normally high praise but for some reason the second I saw this game, I thought it was going to be one of those small name games. Now don't get me wrong, its look like it could be fun and I have played the demo and it is but its nothing to go woohoo about, the units are fun to play with and the fps turret idea is cool but its nothing really new and exiting. My belief is it is going to be a game that lan party's will play all the time but thats because its a game style you play all the time. The one real beef I have with it, and this surprises me, is from what I saw and played there was almost no strategy in the game, it was literally the bigger machine and the more of them style, jesus there wasn't even a rock paper scissors system in place. Granted I played the demo so it could change but not as drastic as it needs to be done, I literally would send in best of the best units and they would be obliterated because he had more lesser guys. As you can see on my play list this has made me move my rts playing over to Company of Heroes, maybe one of the most in depth strategy there is. Look for my next post which will be about COH

The hours I have put into the game, and the nights spent trying to take over the known world are so many. The memory of playing the demo for the first time sticks in my brain in the original game. Taking my force and attacking from the tress in a surprise maneuver just had me my teenager mind lost in a sea of tactics and battles. From that point it was nights spent avoiding homework going "just one more turn" as my armies marches across the classical world. There was something to a game that balanced a great real time war scenario with a simple yet fun turn based system that had you stuck once you started. Years went by, and more Total War games came out, but slowly they just stopped being the Total War games I loved. Looking at them I loved certain parts but the dark era of gunpowder nev...
