A House of Cards Built Upon Matchsticks Two men run down the street after a crash is heard, along with the pain of a dog's screech. One man is sent away as the two find a hit and run with a dog, the man clearly of importance bends down to look at the dog. He begins to talk but at first it is hard to tell if its narration or the man talking. Snap, the man just snapped the neck of the dog after giving a speech about needless pain. This is how House of Cards the new Netflix original starts and already I am excited. Having just seen the first episode of the political drama starring the great Kevin Spacey I can say that Netflix has itself one wonderful career ahead of itself. House of Cards first draws you in with a character unlike others, he is composed, smart and always thinking, The best part is he never tells you what he is doing, not in a way to keep audience suspense but rather this is a man who does not care if you know.
